Judging the NZ Hi-Tech Awards

Each year, the Hi-Tech Awards benefit from the expertise of over 70 local judges and 10 to 15 international judges.

Our local judges bring extensive experience as Founders, Entrepreneurs, CEOs, Advisers, and Investors within New Zealand’s technology sector. Many have scaled organisations internationally and have previously been entrants, finalists, or recipients of the Hi-Tech Awards.

Our international judges provide a valuable global perspective. They comprise successful Kiwi expatriates and global investors who possess decades of international experience, while maintaining a deep appreciation for the distinctive characteristics of New Zealand’s business environment.

The judging panel is reviewed and refreshed annually, with a strong emphasis on diversity, inclusiveness, and alignment with evolving market conditions.
