Graces’s story
2021 Scholarship Recipient
Grace Thompson is studying towards a Bachelor of Science in computer science and is part of the Science Scholars programme at the University of Auckland. She recognises the impact technology will have on all sectors in the future. As the first in both her immediate and extended family to attend university, she wants to encourage other Pacific Island women to consider a career in STEM. “One of the aspects of Computer Science I love the most is that it can be used to do good. I want to have an impact on people's lives for the better.”
