Eligibility For This Category

Your company is registered in NZ and meets at least two of the following criteria:

• Founded in NZ
• Global headquarters are in NZ
• At least 20% of your employees reside in NZ
• If your company has previously been honoured with the PwC Company of the Year title, it is not eligible to compete in this category again

Entries Open 1 December 

In Entering This Category

• You have developed a successful hi-tech company with a track record of continuous achievement.
• You will have reported revenue of at least NZ $15 million for the calendar year ending 31 December 2026.
• You will be able to tell an exciting story of revenue growth, sustained innovation, commercial success and strategies for achieving your remaining goals.
• You should be able to demonstrate through your answers how your company is applying and/or developing strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards.
• You will supply signed accounts from your last two completed financial years and will respond to any further requests from the judges for evidence to support any claims made in this entry.
• A company is limited to winning the PwC Company of the Year award only once. If your company has previously been honoured with the PwC Company of the Year title, it is not eligible to compete in this category again. However, if you have won a different category in previous years, you may still participate in the PwC Company of the Year category. Furthermore, if your company has previously secured the PwC Company of the Year accolade, you remain eligible to enter any other category as long as you meet the respective eligibility criteria. If you have entered the PwC Company of the Year category previously but have not won then you are encouraged to enter again.
