Hi-Tech Young Achiever

Xero

Entries have now closed. Good luck to our entrants!

Entries in this category are judged by a panel of both local and international judges.

Unless otherwise indicated, the Awards focus on the previous calendar year’s activity and the IP, value and innovation delivered in this timeframe. While previous activity and future potential is considered, the judge’s decision will be based on what has been delivered in that year.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to email info@hitech.org.nz or call 09 984 4140.

Please note the following:

  • You can either directly enter this category yourself or nominate someone you think deserves the award.
  • This award, like the Flying Kiwi Hi-Tech Hall of Fame and Inspiring Individual awards are enduring accolades meaning previous winners are not eligible to re-enter. However previous finalists are encouraged to re-enter.
  • Finalists in the Young Achiever Category cannot also be a finalist in the Inspiring Individual Category in the same year; in the advent of this occurrence the entrant/nominee will be asked to select the category they wish to go forward in.

Judging criteria

The winner of this category will be an individual who is:

  • Under the age of 30 years old, as of midnight, on 1 March, 2022.
