Earina’s story
2021 Scholarship Recipient
Earina Savinelli is 18 years old and in the final year of high school. Next year, Earina plans to move from Whakatane to Auckland to study a Bachelor of Creative Technologies at Media Design School. Growing up without access to the required technology, Earina has only recently discovered the world of gaming, but has quickly grown to love the medium and has a dream of creating sophisticated games that are accessible to people who don’t have access to consoles. “It is my goal to develop both fictional and educational games, working for our up-and-coming game studios throughout Aotearoa.”
