Eligibility for this category:

Your company is registered in NZ and meets at least two of the following criteria:

• Founded in NZ
• Global headquarters are in NZ
• At least 20% of your employees reside in NZ
• The product originated in NZ or was substantially developed in NZ

Once your entry is prepared, submit it through our online portal by clicking the button below. Entries close: 5 pm Monday, 3 March 2025. Ensure your submission is completed before this deadline to be considered.

Submit Your Entry 

In entering this category:

• You are a manufacturer that has developed a hardware product that is genuinely innovative and can demonstrate how it’s positioned for future success.
• Your product must be clearly differentiated from that of your competition. Your product may include software but the real competitive advantage has to come from its hardware design or product innovations.
• Your company demonstrates innovation in product features, functionalities, or technologies that set you apart in the Hi-Tech hardware sector.
• You can showcase measurable improvements in efficiency, sustainability, or quality resulting from your innovative product design.
• You can provide evidence of at least one commercial sale (this excludes grants and investment) for the calendar year ending 31 December 2024.
• Upon request, you can supply the judges with evidence to support any claims made in this entry and be able to prove that:
  • The product was designed and manufactured? in NZ
  • Your company owns or has rights to use the IP related to the product
