Petra Guy

Petra Guy is currently pursuing a Conjoint degree in Business and Computer Science at the University of Waikato.

Growing up, Petra was never able to develop a passion for technology, as her family did not have the tools or funds to purchase anything of that sort. It was not until her first year at university, when she landed a role as a software developer, that she realised technology was her future.

She is now excited to be taking the next steps in her career as a software developer.

In her free time, Petra enjoys art and staying active by playing netball.

She also has a strong interest in e-commerce and often spends her weekends exploring this interest through Shopify and WordPress.

Petra is extremely grateful to have been awarded this scholarship, as it will greatly assist her in achieving her academic and professional goals. She thanks the committee for considering her for this opportunity.
