Judging Process
Entries close at 5.00pm on Monday 16th March, 2009
Once your entry has been received by the independent entry collator at PricewaterhouseCoopers it will be assessed by the following judging process.
- 1. Led by the Convener of Judges, Garth Biggs, our panel of experienced local judges are assigned to assess a category based upon their areas of expertise.
- 2. The local judges will select a short-list of finalists.
- 3. All finalists will be notified in the week commencing 30th March, 2009.
- 4. The finalists in the company and product categories will be sent to the international judging panel for their assessment.
- 5. Finalists in the company, product and young achiever related categories will be interviewed by a panel of local judges on Tuesday 7th April 2009. All entrants are advised to keep this day free on their calendar.
- 6. Finalists in all categories are requested to attend the Finalists and Sponsors event, following on from the panel judging, from 5.30 - 7.30pm. This event is proudly hosted by our principal sponsors PricewaterhouseCoopers.
- 7. All finalists are expected to attend the Gala Awards Dinner, at the Christchurch Convention Centre, on Friday 1st May, 2009.
- 20th November 2008 -- Entries open
- 16th March, 2009 -- Entries close
- w/c 30th March 2009 -- Finalists advised (in confidence)
- 7th April 2009 -- Judging Panel for selected finalists
- 7th April 2009 -- Finalists and Sponsor event
- 1st May, 2009 -- Gala Awards Dinner.
Please note The names of the local and international judges will be announced in January 2009. All judges will declare any conflicts of interest and sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to receiving any entries.A respected judging adjudicator will be appointed to facilitate any disputes by judges or any concerns that entrants may have.
