Edward Farmer, Panmure Gordon
Edward joined Panmure Gordon, a London based corporate stockbroking company, as a director in the Corporate Finance Department in November 2000 having previously worked for Cazenove & Co. and Lazard Brothers for nine and eight years respectively. Edward brings considerable corporate broking and equity capital market experience both in the UK as well as internationally in Europe, Far East and North America. Edward is a graduate in Biology (Cell Science) from Exeter University (1981). He advised Endace on its AIM flotation on the London Stock Exchange in 2005, the first such listing by a New Zealand company.

Greg Horowitt, GlobalConnect
As the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Global CONNECT, Greg Horowitt is leading the development of a portfolio of expertise linking regional networks and enterprises to global markets and customer channels. Effectively bridging the networks encompassing university and private research, global trade organisations, capital providers, entrepreneurs, and business services, Global CONNECT helps to facilitate and accelerate global technology commercialization and job creation. Founded less than two years ago, Global CONNECT has grown under Greg's leadership to include members from England, Scotland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Prior to Global CONNECT, Greg served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for a leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm and was president and CEO of The Praetorian Group, a venture backed US enterprise software company. Andy Lark, LogLogic
While a Kiwi by birth Andy Lark's international experience transcends his New Zealand  origins. Andy is a global marketing and business leader with more than 20 years experience of technology, Internet, telecommunications and consumer sectors across a number of international markets. He has led award-winning programs and teams for Fortune 500 and Times 100 companies, technology leaders, start-ups and the world's hottest advertising and communications agencies. Today, Andrew is LogLogic's chief marketing officer - a hot technology start-up backed by Sequoia Capital and growing at over 300% per quarter. LogLogic provides breakthrough technology for collecting, storing and analyzing log data from systems of all kinds. Parallel to his leadership role at LogLogic, Andrew plays an active role in The Lark Group which he founded and leads as chief executive officer. The Lark Group is a communications consulting firm focused at the nexus of traditional and participatory communications. The company has completed training and consulting engagements for companies such as Southwest Airlines, Entrust, Palamida, Esphion, Visa, Textron, and Fleishman-Hillard. Andrew played a key role in the development and launch of journeytotorino.com - Visa's first foray into the blogosphere and blog for its Olympic athletes. The Lark Group also is a member of Corante's industry leading Social Media Advisory service.

Ann Winblad, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners
Ann Winblad is the co-founding Partner of Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. Hummer Winblad Venture Partners focuses solely on software investing and has funded over 100 software startups.  Ann has over 30 years of experience in the software industry as a successful software entrepreneur, strategy advisor, technical author and venture capitalist. Ann served and serves as a director of numerous start-up and public companies. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of St. Thomas, co-chair of SDForum and serves as an advisor to many entrepreneurial organisations.

Bert Franzen, Executive Director, electAssociates Pty Ltd
Bert Franzen is the founder and principal consultant of electAssociates, a boutique recruitment firm specialising in the information, technology and communications industry.

Prior to establishing electAssociates, Bert worked for a variety of organisations including the global recruitment firm Adecco. He also worked with Sienna Technologies as Australian Sales Manager promoting B2B solutions, SPL WorldGroup as Senior Sales Executive promoting system integration services, Technical Logistics International as Managing Director specialising in international recruitment, and Computer People as NSW Branch Manager.

Bert has also participated as a Judge with Austrade’s IT Secrets Software Innovation Awards and facilitates workshops on how to use Emotional Intelligence in Effective Leadership.

Andi Luiskandl, Managing Director, E-Novation Limited
Andi has over 15 years experience in IT including assignments with Coca-Cola International, Coca-Cola Amatil and Dairy Farmers.

At the end of 2003 Andi founded his own business, E-Novation, specializing in innovative business performance and risk management systems. E-Novation’s ‘BizWise’ balanced scorecard and benchmarking platform won the Consensus Software Award in 2005. E-Novation was also elected as a National Finalist for the AIIA iAward 2005. Some of E-Novation’s customers are respected global corporations who themselves are innovators in their respective industries.

Andi is a frequent guest speaker at various industry events in the areas of electronic business and collaborative technologies. He is a graduate of the University of Technology in Sydney.

Carl Rogers, Process MeNtOR Product Manager, Object Consulting
Carl Rogers is the Product Manager for Process MeNtOR®, Object Consulting’s own component-based software development methodology and a strategic piece of intellectual property for the company. Carl was appointed to this newly created role in January 2006 and is responsible for managing and driving the overall direction and product development of Process MeNtOR, as well as all aligned marketing, pre-sales, customer and partnership activities. He also works closely with the technical product management team on product delivery.

Carl has over 20 years of experience in information management and analysis gained across the finance, defence and commercial airline industries. Prior to being promoted to his current role he held the position of Supervising Consultant within Object’s Capability Improvement Division. Previously Carl spent over four years with KAZ Technology Services where he was a Solutions Delivery Consultant in the Solutions and Consulting Group. Carl also held various roles during a six year period with Qantas and is a former Intelligence Officer with the Royal Australian Air Force.

Carl holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from the University of Southern Queensland. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) as well as an Associate Member of the Australian Computer Society.

Meredith Thompson, Managing Director, Software Choice
Meredith Thompson is Managing Director of Software Choice, a boutique consulting firm which helps businesses to choose software. 

Meredith is an accomplished IT consultant specialising in software package selection and implementation. Her skills include reviewing and documenting processes, sourcing and evaluating appropriate solutions, and managing software implementation projects. Meredith has helped clients in industries such as professional services, fulfillment, call centres, HR consulting, recruitment and wholesale distribution.

Prior to establishing Software Choice, Meredith worked with a wide variety of organisations and industries including the Department of Defence where she managed tendering processes for numerous project outsourcing activities, PKF Management Consulting where she was a business analyst specialising in software selection, and for a software vendor where she managed software implementations. Meredith has also been an IT Manager for a small business, and has 10 years of accounting experience.

Robin Wall, Business Manager, Transform Group
Robin is a business manager specialising in the services sector, bringing a proven track record in growing businesses.  His business experience incorporates management/technical consulting, system development, product integration and system deployment/implementation.  The roles he has carried out include business group management (P&L), business development, consulting, delivery team management, sales and marketing management, system development, and training.  Over his 20 years experience, he has built up expertise covering e-commerce, information management, business systems, infrastructure, information security and solution identification.  Robin has market knowledge gained in Banking, Financial Services/Insurance, Government, Defence, Telco, Utilities, Manufacturing and Retail sectors

Robin is a Business Manager at the Tranzform Group, a Management Consulting company specialising in delivering business change initiatives.  Tranzform manages a network of independent consultants, individually selected for their knowledge and delivery capability. Tranzform specialises in program management, organisational design, business process change and technology change.

Prior to that, Robin ran BeyondIT Business Development Services for nearly 3 years.  The company provided Outsourced Business Development Services and helped mature IT companies expand their markets or young IT companies develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives.

Patrick Wilson, Professional Services Manager, Resonate Solutions Pty Limited
Patrick’s career in the IT industry spans over 25 years – with wide ranging experience at organisations such as Unisys, Siebel and Optus. He has had project and program responsibilities covering full life-cycle projects including system application packages and custom development as well as broader Commercial and Relationship Roles.

Patrick has a strong background in ERP and CRM systems implementation and methodologies including SAP R/3 and Siebel products and has experience in a number of industry sectors including Finance, Telecommunications, FMCG, Retail, Service Management and Manufacturing.

Since returning to consulting a little over a year ago, Patrick has been assisting clients identifying and applying technology to better support customer facing business processes which satisfy defined corporate strategies. These technologies include Customer Analytics, Business Intelligence, “Classic” CRM and Mobile solutions.

Guy Mason is Chief Information Officer and Director of Information Systems at English Welsh & Scottish Railway Limited

He is also Executive Director of Transeo, a joint undertaking of EWS and Thales Information Services Limited. In his EWS role he is responsible for all the systems and technologies associated with managing the EWS businesses in the UK and Europe and with Transeo for the development of an international rail and transport focused systems and technology business. In addition to his responsibilities at EWS, Guy is an advisor to the European Commission contributing to projects and policy thinking in the European Union, largely in the field of rail technology and transportation. Guy sits on the steering group for the European Rail Industry's approach to information systems and technology integration and interoperability - to reduce cost and improve service of rail transportation across Europe. EWS, Britain’s only truly national rail freight operator, operates 1100 trains a day using 500 modern locomotives. EWS also provides infrastructure engineering trains for Network Rail’s maintenance and construction work and runs over 1,000 special passenger trains each year. Guy graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Economics entered the oil and chemical industry before joining Coopers & Lybrand as a management consultant in Consumer, Distribution and Retail Information Systems. Since the mid 1990s he has had a number of international roles in the Engineering, Transport and Distribution sectors, joining EWS in late 2001 and forming the Transeo Business in 2005.
